With the X140 John Deere have taken their base range of lawn tractors to a whole new level.

This machine costs less than £2600.00 and yet the specification is massive, exceeding any competitors machine.

As with all X series tractors it has a cast front axle for added strength, but the mower also benefits from a superb twin cylinder Briggs & Startton engine producing some 21 hp.

This is more than enough to power the massive 48" (120cm) cutter deck that can be set to eiher side discharge, or with the baffle plate supplied it can mulch as well. 

Other features include simple to operate foot pedal hydrostatic drive, high back seat with lumbar support, cruise control and hour meter to accurately judge service intervals.
